We are pleased to announce the launch of the Disrupting Acquisition Blog on AiDA!

The focus is to share ideas, tips, and solutions to transform the Defense Acquisition Enterprise to deliver capabilities with greater speed and agility.

We’ve assembled some of DoD’s brightest minds and authors in defense acquisition to include:

• Dan Ward has written two books (FIRE and Simplicity Cycle along with nearly 200 articles on simplicity and innovation to push DoD to Build Droids, Not Death Stars
• Lorna Tedder, a longtime champion of innovative contracting strategies and author of the popular Agile Acquisition Blog, will be sharing her latest adventures here.
• Pete Modigliani, who is focused on speed and agility, portfolio management, and digitally transforming defense acquisition.
• Deb Zides, an experienced program manager and coach for rapid acquisition practices and principles.
• Colleen Murphy, who has led the way on Agile contracting methods, other transactions, and researching the acquisition workforce.
• Jen Choi, a multi-disciplinary systems engineer focused on innovation and international acquisitions.
• Roger Thrasher, a passionate advocate for empowering Program Executive Officers with the authority, autonomy, and accountability to field solutions and using the right tool for the job.

We hope this will be a collaborative environment to hear from you on the front lines who are working in program offices fighting the good fight to deliver capabilities to the warfighters. We want to work with you to replicate success, thaw the Frozen Middle, and support adoption of the latest rapid acquisition and contracting approaches.
